Brief:

We are looking for looking for System Administrators to work the day shift at our San Diego Data Center and night shift for our Riverside Data Center. This position would require that you are available to work weekends and are on a emergency call list.

Description:

1. Assist Junior System Administrators with technical issues
2. Configure servers for Enterprise customers (account transfers, backup, clustering, and high-availability)
3. Install and maintain server software (Linux, Windows Server)
4. Assist in server stability and security
5. Must be available for on call emergencies
6. Manage customer relation
7. Setup and maintain complex high availability clusters
8. Setup and maintain monitoring and backups
9. Setup DNS

Skills

• Minimum 4 years Linux administration experience
• Minimum 4 years building out MySQL clusters and high availability clusters
• System architecture, topology design and implementation experience.
• PERL or Bourne shell scripting language skills
• DNS administration
• User/host account administration
• Hardware /software installation
• TCP/IP networking & troubleshooting
• Firewall experience
• Strong familiarity with Apache, PHP, Sendmail and Exim
• Experience with managing web servers & secure certificates
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and dependability
• Excellent team player
• Able to work in a high pressure 24x7x365 environment
